Cantrell PLLC is very pleased to announce the hiring of Jade Craig

Cantrell PLLC, a litigation boutique that focuses on competition disputes and employment law, is very pleased to announce the hiring of Jade Craig. Jade’s career as an attorney has focused on representing individual and corporate clients in commercial litigation and handling issues related to labor and employment law.  He has represented clients in labor and employment disputes in both state and federal courts, including preparing and arguing dispositive motions that have resulted in settlement or dismissal before trial.  He has also represented employers in administrative proceedings, including complaints before the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the National Labor Relations Board.

Born and raised in Hattiesburg, Mississippi, Jade graduated from the University of Virginia and continued his education at Columbia Law School serving as editor-in-chief of the Columbia Journal of Race & Law. Jade served as a law clerk to the Hon. Damon J. Keith of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit in Detroit and the Hon. Carlton W. Reeves of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Mississippi in Jackson.  He also served in the Obama Administration as Special Policy Advisor for the Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity at the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development under the leadership of former Secretary Julian Castro.

Jade is happily married with a son and loves spending time with his family and close friends as well as enjoying time outdoors exploring local wildlife or watching documentaries with his spare time.
